EoneBoss ED01 supports key cloning for 2018+ Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) models and enables high-trim functions (UWB). This guide walks you through copying JLR smart key data with the EoneBoss ED01, step by step.
Step 1. Record Key ID & Position
Use an OBD device to read and record the original key’s ID and corresponding key position, even if the key is unusable.

Step 2. Place Board on DP-01
Open the shell of an existing original key. Remove the PCB board and place it on the DP- 01 adapter
HARDWARE SETUP
• 29A4: Direct reading via adapter
• 29AF: Remove the chip from the original key, solder it onto the Off- Board Read Adapter, and read the data.
Step 3. Read & Process Key Data
In the app, read the original key’s NCF29A4/F chip data. Process the data, then select the Key ID and Key Position
APP SELECTION
Enter the Key ID and Key Position from Step 1.
Note: You can scan the QR code to download and install the
EoneBoss APP.
Step 4. Write Data to New Key
Write the processed original key data to the new key

Step 5. Match Remote Counter
If the remote functions do not work correctly after cloning, adjust the remote counter to match the current vehicle.
NOTE: For OEM keys, this function is available only after copying is completed with ED-01.
